Mr. H.A. Umaru is a case study of self-groomed personality. At early age, Mr Umar started his working life as a typist / stenographer but had to move up the educational ladder through self efforts. Through private studies he passed all the professional papers of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrator and thereby got admitted as an Associate of the Institute both in London and Nigeria. He is a company secretary to many companies.
Not satisfied with his level of education, he went ahead to obtain B.Ed. Degree in Business Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an M.Ed. in Educational Management from University of Ilorin. Thereafter he obtained a Doctorate degree from the same university. He retired as a senior Administrator within the University system.
