Munirat Olafemi Yusuf-Habeeb is a seasoned academic with a second class upper division first degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Ilorin, PhD in Public Administration and Policy Analysis and PhD in Management from the University of Abuja. She is a member of several professional bodies.
She has over thirty (30) years teaching experience at secondary school, polytechnic and university (undergraduate and postgraduate) levels. She also had a stink at banking. A widely read academic, she has an intellectual inclination towards International Business, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Leadership and Industrial Relations.
A prolific writer, she has authored several academic textbooks and researched publications to her credit in national and international journals. Her academic profile is bolstered by several conferences she has attended, locally and internationally, exchanging knowledge and expertise with seasoned academic contemporaries. She participated in a bilateral conference by the Nigerian and Korean governments on SME development held in Korea. She also participated in the Conference of Engineering and Business Management in Suzhou-China organized by the Advanced Research Centre for Science and Technology, Wuhan China.
A pioneer head of the Accounting Department, University of Abuja, she has been head of the Business Administration Department at different times and also Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences. She has served in various other administrative capacities such as Hall Mistress, Coordinator Diploma, and Postgraduate Studies. A member of the Student Welfare Board, she served on various committees including the Health Management Board, Ceremonies Committee, Committee of Deans, to mention but a few. A member of many socio-cultural fora, she has been the Chairperson of Ansar-U-deen Society of Nigeria, Women Wing, Gwagwalada for several years. One time Treasurer of ASUU UniAbuja, she has served as the Chairperson Unity Coop Society of the University.

A philanthropist, technocrat and academic per excellence, she is a leading figure among her people, she is the woman leader of Iyamoye Development Union, chairperson of the National Association of Women in Academic (NAWACS), she currently pays school fees of more than ten students some of whom are not her relation.
